TECHNICAL

Building


The building, as specified herein, consists of columns, rafters, bracing, connection clips, roof Purlins, wall girts, roof and wall sheeting, anchor bolts, flashing, trims, etc., or as specified. All materials shall be new and free from defects. The main building structure comprises of single or multiple gable interior rigid frames with either rigid or "post-and beam" frames at the end walls.


Building Width


O/O. Building Width is the distance between the Outside Line of one side Gable End Column (End Wall Column)+steel line to the outside Line of Gable End Column (End Wall Column) of the Opposite side+ Steel Line. Any Width is possible.
C/C. The building width is defined as distance from the Center of Main Framed Column of one side wall to the Center of Main Framed Column of the opposite side wall.


Building Length


O/O. Building Length is the distance between the Outside Line of one side Gable End Column (End Wall Column)+steel line to the outside Line of Gable End Column (End Wall Column) of the Opposite side + Steel Line. Any Length is possible.
C/C. The building Length is defined as distance from the Center of Main Framed Column of one side wall to the Center of Main Framed Column of the opposite side wall.


Building Height


Building height eave height which usually is the distance from the bottom of the main framed column base plate to the top cap plate of the main framed column. When the columns are elevated from finished floor level, the building height is the distance from finished floor level to the top of cap plate of the main framed column.
The building clear height is the distance from finished floor level (FFL) to the bottom of the end plate of the rafter at the knee


Bay Spacing


Bay spacing is the distance between two adjacent main frame columns and 7-8 meters are economical.


Steel Line


Steel line is defined as distance between center of main frame/gable column to the in side of sheeting line.


Roof Slope


Mostly it is 1:10. Any slope is possible. Slopes between 1:5 to 1:20 are generally used.


Brick Wall


Mostly it is 3 Meters in height.
